Fluvanna ends season with home loss

In the final 2010 football game in Costello Stadium, Fluvanna fell to border rival Louisa 44-0 on Friday night.

Flucos get the Knight they’ve waited four long years

Of the 1,200 students at Fluvanna County High School, none of them have gone to a Homecoming dance following a football victory.

Flucos fall in ‘Battle of Columbia’

The ‘Battle of Columbia’ is one of the oldest rivalries the Flucos play in. The 2010 version of Fluvanna v. Goochland didn’t go as the Flucos had hoped for, falling 54-14 on Friday night.

“We talked about this from the beginning. We’re not going to face teams who say, ‘Hey, you guys have really improved a lot. Here, why don’t you win this game?’ They are going to try to win this game too,” said interim head coach Jason Barnett.

Flucos unable to stop late Madison push

Fluvanna fell to visiting Madison 24-21 despite holding the lead for most of the game.

“We had a couple of series where we had some bad things happen to us. We have to be a more complete team from quarter one to quarter four,” said Fluvanna’s interim head coach Jason Barnett said.
