YaYa Anderson was named co-state player of the year for Group AA, Division 3 by the Virginia High School Coaches Association on March 21.
He is making it a humble ending to a season where he could boast. Most 17 year old boys would beat their chest and shout it from the rooftops if selected for such an accolade.

Despite being down by double-digits at halftime, Fluvanna put on a strong second half to beat Culpeper 82-75 in the Group AA Div. 3 State Semifinals.
“This just been a team effort all year. There’s nothing different that happened today that hasn’t happened for 26 other games,” said FCHS head coach Munro Rateau.
