PALMYRA — The Fluvanna girls’ basketball team has gone through offseason workouts in preparation for the upcoming season.
Head coach Chad White didn’t graduate any seniors from last year’s player rotation and looks to improve on the 4-15 finish.
Fluvanna opens the season with Goochland on Nov. 29. The homestand concludes with Spotsylvania and Kettle Run on Dec. 2 and 3 respectively. The Flucos then play Goochland and Cumberland away on back to back days starting on Dec. 6.

FCHS will play in the Beacon Classic at EC Glass in Lynchburg on Dec. 10. Fluvanna then travels to Spotsylvania and Kettle Run on back to back days starting on Dec. 16.
The Flucos return home to play Cumberland on Dec. 20 before participating in the Orange Christmas Bash on Dec. 27 and 28.
Jefferson District play starts on Jan 3 against Western Albemarle then Jan. 6 at Monticello. The final out of district game is Jan. 7 with EC Glass.
Fluvanna continues JD play with Charlottesville and Powhatan on Jan. 10 and 13 at the Shoebox. FCHS then travels to Louisa and Charlottesville on Jan. 20 and 24.
The Flucos retrn home for a Jan. 26 game against Monticello. Western also comes to Palmyra on Jan. 31.
Fluvanna plays at Powhatan on Feb. 2 before ending the year on Feb. 7 against Louisa in the Shoebox. Jefferson District Tournament starts at the higher seed on Feb. 10. The final two rounds will be played at Western Albemarle.
First day of in-season practice Nov. 7.
